The Big Brick Review Reawakens

BBR

The Big Brick Review (BBR) was born in 2014, with a mission ‘devoted to support of the narrative non-fiction genre by serving as a venue for established writers and a springboard for emerging writers.

While we’ve been slumbering for the last couple of years (due to some significant editorial responsibilities elsewhere), we’re pleased to say that 2020 is the year to see things clearly and continue the mission. Our stories and insights are still needed, still relevant—and still an opportunity to bring people together. When we, through thoughtful prose, experience the journey of another, we can know them just a little bit better. And knowing is the first step toward understanding.

Details on our 2020 Essay Contest are listed below. In the meantime, feel free to visit The Review and enjoy some of our past prose.

Please help us spread the word of our reawakening—and let the narrative continue!
